WE CARE: At William Clark & Sons, we are committed to minimising our environmental impact, conserving resources, and fostering social responsibility throughout our fabric finishing and manufacturing operations.



OUR ENVRIONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY 

Resource Efficiency: Within our brand new, 50,000sq ft production facility, we optimise our manufacturing processes to reduce water and energy consumption, minimise waste generation, and maximise the use of sustainable raw materials.

Chemical Management: We employ eco-friendly and non-toxic chemicals (REACH compliant) in our finishing processes and continually seek alternatives to reduce the environmental footprint of our operations.

Emission Reduction: Our new production facility creates new efficiencies reducing our water, electrical output thus reducing our carbon footprint. We’ve implemented new practices and technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, air pollution, and water pollution, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Energy Conservation: Where possible we invest in energy-efficient equipment and practices to reduce our energy consumption and promote the use of renewable energy sources wherever feasible.

Ethical Labour Practices: We proudly uphold ethical working practices, ensuring safe and healthy working conditions for our employees, and respecting human rights in our supply chain. There’s no modern slavery in our supply chain and all William Clark & Sons employees are employed under the UK’s laws.

Community Engagement: As a proud Northern Irish business with an extensive rich history within the community, we actively engage with the communities where we operate, supporting local initiatives and contributing positively to their development. We have strong links to local museums, universities and people whose parents, grandparents or even great grandparents once were employed by William Clark & Sons.
