The spiral has evolved to be one of the most effective ways for botanicals to grow. Sometimes this growth pattern is immediately seen, at other times we have to look at nature from a different angle. Lupins on first sight appear to grow in a vertical formation, viewed from above however we see the beautiful spiraling of the flower heads.
