It seems humans have for a long time appreciated the importance of the spiral in the natural world. In Neolithic times peoples across the world carved spiral shapes into rocks at sacred or important sites. Was this in relation to galaxies in space, flora and fauna formations or representing something else? We will probably never know. This small scale print celebrates the rough stone petroglyphs carved into rock.
